In response to some frequently asked questions:
When is Opening Day?
- Opening day for the 2026 season will take place on April 18th. It will begin at Wamsutta Middle School and end of Poncin Hewitt Sports Complex
When will I know my players coach?
- Rosters will be released a few weeks before the start of the season. Coaches will reach out to players via email.
When are games?
- All older levels (rookies, minors, mjors, will generally be weeknight games with two or three games per week, and a practice, with the exception of Tee Ball.
- TeeBall will be on Saturdays-mostly in the mornings.
- Most Tee Ball teams will have a weeknight practice but will be up to individual coaches.
- Depending on participation levels, Instructional level will either be weeknights or Saturdays with Tee Ball (we hope to separate 6’s for development).
Where are games played?
- Poncin Hewitt (older) and the Finberg complex (younger) will be the primary locations.
What equipment does my player need?
- Players will need a glove. We are asking if possible, that families also provide individual bats and helmets as well.
