Attleboro Youth Baseball is pleased to offer you an invitation to our twelfth Annual Battle in the Boro Summer Invitational Baseball Tournament 2023. We will provide tournament play to include 8U, 9U,10U,11U, and 12U. We accept all caliber teams with the exception of AAU teams but please note you may all be grouped together. The tournament will be held over two weekends. The 8’s, 9’s and 11’s will play on July 8th and 9th. The 10’s, and 12’s will play on July 15th and 16th. We are excited to have the 11 and 12 year old groups play on our 50/70 diamonds. The age groupings assigned to each date have been specifically chosen to not conflict with other popular area tournaments. We hope you will join us!
- Each team will be placed in a pool within their division. They will play 2 games on Saturday and a 3rd game on Sunday. Semi-Final and Finals action will take place on Sunday. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games (weather permitting)
- Awards will be given for 1st and 2nd place teams in each age group.
- The 8-12 yr old games will be contested at the Poncin Hewitt and Finberg Field Complexes. Directions to all fields can be found on our web site www.attleboroyouthbaseball.net then go to “fields” link.
- All games will be umpired by patched, certified association of league umpires.
- AYB will supply all game balls.
- 11 & 12 year olds will play on 50/70 fields
- The tournament is not accepting AAU teams.
- Teams will receive a tournament game schedule a week to two prior to tournament.
- Confirmation of receipt of schedule will be required along with a roster for each team entered.
We anticipate hosting over 60 teams over the course of the two weekends. See Registration Information below. The spots will be awarded to the first 12 teams in all divisions.
